Youth Arts Space Rheumatic Fever Creative Hub is an exciting opportunity for young artists to get involved and make a difference creatively. Check out our Workshop details below.
Rheumatic fever is a serious but preventable illness. It mainly affects Māori and Pacific children and young people (aged 4 and above), especially if they have other family members who have had rheumatic fever. Let’s join together and get rid of Rheumatic fever once and for all.
The Youth Performance Trust is helping to lift awareness about rheumatic fever in our communities by running a creative arts workshop where our future artists will create works to help others learn about R.F. and prevent it from spreading further in our communities.
Youth arts participants are invited to join our workshop during the April school holidays 8th April – 11th April to take part in this great collaborative arts event – and make a difference in our communities. Participants will be mentored by a range of well-known senior artists from the music industry, visual arts and performing arts. You’ll have fun, get creative, meet some like minded people and get yourself noticed.
When: 8th – 11th April 2015
