PUNA (Auckland region)

Performing Urban Nesian Arts was the name of AUT’s ‘certificate in contemporary maori performing arts’. This qualification was unique in that it was built to pick-up young people that were slipping through the cracks academically before they left school. Using contemporary music and dance, the purpose of the programme was to keep the pathway to tertiary education clear. In the last 10yrs of working in this sector, we have yet to come across something else as effective. A great mix of professional technique, practical application, industry mentoring and cultural emphasis. Get in touch directly if you want to know how to bring a version PUNA to your community.

ASB Polyfest Showcase (Auckland region)

Our team was brought in by SMC Events Ltd to amalgamate the blend of live event management and working with urban, Polynesian populations. We ran the entire stage for this project, from technical production through to script development and stage management on the night.

Converse Workshops

Our team is regularly asked to develop and deliver ‘one-off’ workshops for the Auckland City council Community Development team. The Converse conference is a great example of our ability to respond quickly to our community’s needs. In recent years we have delivered workshops on event management, youth participation, workshop delivery and culture & identity.
